Airbus 321 was parked in a remote area of the Turkish airport after the flight’s crew was notified of a possible bomb on board. Cops boarded the flight when it landed after the four hour ten minute journey. The passengers disembarked from the plane and experts searched flight U28843 for bombs with dogs.
The easyJet flight departed London Gatwick 10 minutes late at 6.20am this morning and arrived into Dalaman Airport four minutes late at 12.24pm.
An easyJet spokesman told Daily Star Online: “easyJet can confirm that police boarded an aircraft prior to departure at Dalaman today at the request of Dalaman Airport security
and additional security checks were undertaken.
